Your tour, your itinerary
James Thurlow's very individual tours usually cater for 1 - 4 people, over 2 - 7 days (all of these details can be extended). With an itinerary tailor-made to your interests and specifications, we can of course aid you in the planning stages. Your starting point may be a particular monarch or historical figure; it may be a culture or a period from the past millennia or two...or three; it may be just a love of architecture and a fascination with its evolution. Whatever your interest, our intimate knowledge of the nation's sites, sights and histories will ensure your knowledge is deepened and your passion fed.

We do not operate rushed bus-top tours and will ensure your experience is as comfortable as it is fascinating. For example, the Tower of London, Hampton Court, St. Pauls Cathedral and Windsor Castle require at the very minimum half a day each: we do not just want you to see places, we want you to know them.

Although we clearly concentrate on Southern England, Scotland and Wales can feature as prominently in your tour as you wish: perhaps even as prominently as they have featured in the history of the nation!

At your service
Having been informed of your flight details, we will meet you and escort you to your hotel. Your tour starts here.

Chauffeured transport to your requirements, from and too your hotel, will be provided. All tours are chauffer driven, to better absorb the atmosphere of one of the great capital cities of the world. If this does not suit your needs, just let us know and we will arrange your visit accordingly.

Free airport transfers! for a party of up to four people, enjoying a tour of three days or more, we can offer free transfers from the airport to your accommodation
